Challenge

The product needed to feel fast at every step: writing, uploading, replying, and scanning a live feed. Latency and moderation overhead were the core risks.

Approach

I optimized critical paths with lean payloads, pragmatic caching, and clearer moderation states. The publishing UI was simplified to keep users in flow.

Outcome

Threadit launched with reliable feed performance and a moderation workflow that scales as activity increases.
