A two-sided marketplace for U.S. families and caregivers across three surfaces: client and caregiver portals, an admin console, and a Flutter mobile app. Verified carers, matching on real care needs, and money held until the week is delivered.
Finding a trustworthy caregiver for an aging parent in the U.S. is slow, anxious, and opaque. Existing platforms over-index on listings. Families across cities like Boston, Chicago, and Atlanta wanted vetted matches and protection for the money changing hands.
ch.02 · Approach
Approach.
Built the marketplace around two pressures: speed to match and trust around payment. A multi-step vetting funnel, intent-driven matching tuned for U.S. caregiving needs, and weekly invoicing with funds held until the week closes keep both sides honest. Families who prefer a phone get the same platform as a Flutter app.
ch.03 · Outcome
Outcome.
A family fills one intake, reviews caregivers already through vetting, and books without money moving until the week is delivered. The 7-day dispute window gives both sides a defined place to raise a problem instead of a chargeback, and a scheduled sweep releases funds once it closes.
