An online marketplace that helps U.S. families find background-checked caregivers for aging parents. Matched within a day, with payment held safely until the work is done.
The approach
I designed the marketplace around the two concerns families raise most: how quickly they can find the right person, and whether their money is protected. Caregivers complete a multi-step screening; matching accounts for condition, schedule, and language; and payment sits in escrow until the family confirms the work.
The result
The product is built and live, in its first weeks with real families. The matching flow is designed to return a reviewed shortlist within a day, and the seven-day escrow window exists to surface concerns while they are still conversations rather than disputes. I will publish outcome figures here once there is enough usage to report them honestly.
